This means that if I have a stopwatch and a speedometer hooked up together onboard the space shuttle, and I could hit a button to take a reading of both at exactly the same time, AND the stopwatch started at the launch, if I hit the button 2.15823 seconds after launch, the speedometer on the space shuttle said we were going 183.8964 miles per hour.
Even though we never traveled at that speed for any length of time, even though we always kept speeding up, thats exactly how fast we were going exactly 2.15823 seconds after launch.
Not sure what type of answer I am supposed to give.
It was tricky because it tells you the shuttle is accelerating constantly but it also says that at a certain time it is going a certain speed.
I didnt understand what the problem was asking me.
Its kind of a dumb question.
Are you asking for its rate? I dont understand what you are asking for.
I dont completely understand what kind of answer the question wants me to respond with. What would it mean is vague.
I dont like math problems that have a solution expressed in words. I call that English.
